For the high rollers, London bar Novikov’s glamorous Wild Orchid cocktail, is sprinkled with 23 carat gold. Aldi’s version, Bloomin’ Wild, features Haysmith’s Orange Blossom and Peach Gin and Aldi’s Premium French Vodka.

Ingredients

  • 35ml Saint Gérmont Réserve Vodka
  • 25ml Orange Blossom & Peach Gin
  • 15ml Elderflower syrup
  • 25ml Lemon Juice
  • 2 dashes Peychaud Bitters
  • Garnished with Connoisseur 23ct edible gold flakes available online

 

Method

  1. Add all ingredients to a shaker with cubed ice
  2. Shake until the outside of the cocktail shaker turns cold
  3. Strain into a chilled martini glass
  4. Garnish with a slim twist of lemon rind and Connoisseur 23ct gold flakes.
