    Edible Gold Leaf is a gold product that can be used to decorate food and beverages. Gold is considered biologically inert, meaning it passes through the digestive system without being absorbed, thus eating gold leaf is harmless.     The famous chef and food alchemist Heston Blumenthal’s Fat Duck Restaurant has been closed in Bray for refurbishment and during this time his team have been working they magic in Melbourne Australia.  It was so popular; a lottery was taken for bookings!  We are missing this Fine Dining Restaurant especially the Alice in Wonderland Mock Turtle Soup, which is gilded with Connoisseur 23ct edible gold leaf.  We are looking forward to seeing Heston back at the end of the year.
